Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 25

We’re now on the other side of NXT TakeOver: Chicago and Money in the Bank. So it is officially the summer season in wrestling as the next big event is SummerSlam. But before that, I guess we should start building toward Extreme Rules .

Fallen off from last week: Finn Bálor (10)

Well, shit. This week was the deadline for The Authors of Pain to have a match or get moved off of active tracking, and they showed up on Main Event finally. Dolph Ziggler also moved back onto the list after surprisingly winning the Intercontinental Championship on Raw.

Shinsuke Nakamura fell below The Bludgeon Brothers after they successfully defended their tag titles this week and he failed to win his opportunity at the WWE Championship. Those two defenses also knocked Karl Anderson to the bottom of the list since he was on the losing side of both of them.

There was a TakeOver this week, so of course a lot of things shifted in NXT. War Raiders defeated The Mighty on NXT TV and both teams moved on the list to coincide with this. Similarly, Aleister Black defeated Lars Sullivan at TakeOver to defend his NXT Championship.

Fallen off from last week: Ronda Rousey (10 – “suspended”)

Asuka took another loss at Money in the Bank, but she’s so far ahead I don’t think she’ll ever lose the top spot this year. Alexa Bliss was the one to win the women’s briefcase and then cashed it in to win the Raw Women’s Championship, but her record is still too bad to make the list. However, Ronda Rousey got the win at Money in the Bank by disqualification after Bliss attacked her, but she got “suspended” on Raw for 30 days so she is no longer eligible for active tracking!

Fallen off from last week: Sami Zayn (8 – injured)

Tony Nese is getting wins on Main Event now, so that’s weird. Sami Zayn lost his match at Money in the Bank, but unfortunately reports are going out that he’s going to be out with an injury for the remainder of the year.
